I am so proud of our seniors they have had a great year and have accomplished so much from All-District to All-State. We are thankful for their years in choir and they will be missed.

I want to take time to brag on one of our seniors that has put in a lot of work this year and has achieved in his first year something monumental. Braden Hillyer has starred as Tarzan in our spring musical and he was selected to sing in the District 7 All-District SATB Chorus as a Tenor 2. However, his recent achievement is something that is impressive and takes a lot of time, preparation and dedication to achieve. He was selected and participated in the All-VA SATB Chorus as a Tenor 2 singing with an elite group of 32 other Tenors from across the state.

This marks the first time in Ridgeview High School history that a student has achieve this distinction. Brayden plans to continue his musical journey at Virginia Tech in the fall majoring in Music Technology. Join me in congratulating him on this historic achievement.
