FUN TIME SHOWS AMUSEMENT CARNIVAL

Fun Time Shows provides fun, safe, and reliable entertainment through our amusement carnival. Fun Time Shows carnival can be found at fairs, festivals, and picnics throughout the Midwest, including Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Indiana. Fun Time Shows benefits from three generations of carnival experience. Fun Time Shows, owned and operated by Clint Payne, is a third generation amusement carnival based out of southeast Missouri. Clint’s grandparents, Harold and Lorene Payne, have been in the business since the 70s. In 1988 they sold the show to Clint’s parents, Kenny and Janet Payne, who operated it until Clint bought the business in 2008.

CARNIVAL ARMBAND SESSIONS WILL BE HELD ON WED., JULY 1ST FROM 6 TILL 10PM...THURSDAY FROM NOON TILL 4PM AND 6 TILL 10PM...FRIDAY FROM NOON TILL 4PM AND 6 TILL 10PM...SATURDAY FROM NOON TILL 4PM AND 6 TILL 10PM.
CARNIVAL ARMBANDS ($30/EACH) ARE ON SALE AT THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (200 SOUTH MAIN). SALES WILL CONTINUE UNTIL 4:30PM JULY 1ST. BEGINNING JULY 1ST, ARMBANDS WILL BE $35 AND PURCHASED AT THE CARNIVAL. CASH ONLY!!

DURING Olde Glory Days, we will have an INFO TENT set-up on the SE corner of the Courthouse lawn. There, you will find those pocket planners, shirts and caps for sale, badges for sale that may help you win a prize, a first aid kit, directions, volunteers and more.

Stop by our tent and we'll try to answer any questions you have...or just to say "Hi!"

FRIDAY, JULY 3RD, 2026. 7:00PM. MAINSTAGE ON THE DOWNTOWN CLINTON, MO SQUARE. FREE.

The RetroNerds are an 80s tribute band from St. Louis, Missouri. They perform the best retro hits in perfect sync with the original music video while dressed as nerds! In true nerd style, computers control all aspects of the sound, video, and lighting to turn this live performance into a unique show of musicianship, video, lighting effects and FUN! They have been performing as a regional act since 2011 and members perform in several groups around St. Louis. They have performed for clubs, restaurants, fundraisers, casinos, private parties, the St. Louis Blues, Anheuser Busch, Comic Con and America's Got Talent. Sound engineers and venues appreciate their ability to perform without traditional amplifiers and acoustic drums allowing for a wide range of volume and sound clarity options. Grab your pocket protector, tape up your broken glasses and come watch four fun nerds take you back to the 80s!

Pedal Pull:
The 2026 Pedal Pull will be at 6pm on THURSDAY, JULY 2nd.

Lots of family fun will be had on the Historic Downtown Clinton Square!

This year’s Pedal Pull event features kid-powered tractors and the registration begins at 5pm.

The classes are age 5 & under…ages 6 & 7...ages 8 & 9…and ages 10 & 11. REGISTRATION IS FREE.

Bring the entire family and cheer on your favorite “Puller.”

This year’s pull is being presented by the Benton Co. Farm Bureau YF&R and the Clinton FFA.

The Clinton Sunrise Optimist Club will be holding the 18th Annual FireQuacker 500 on FRIDAY, JULY 3rd at Optimist Creek in Optimist Park during the Olde Glory Days festivities.

The event will be held at noon with 3000 ducks being dropped into the creek. Spectators will watch as the ducks dodge rocks, sticks and grass to fight to the finish. Everyone can purchase ducks for a chance to win $500, $250 and $100 respectively for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Cost is $1.00 per duck (buck a duck!!)

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased from any Sunrise Optimist Club member, and at Hawthorn Bank and Integrity Floors.

Tickets will be for sale the day of the race if there are any left unsold.

Funds from the FireQuacker 500 Duck Race are used for youth activities throughout the year.

Free ice water and hot dogs will be available before the race. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some fun!

Richard Holmgren and his Flying Debris Show will start at 11am.

The 2026 Olde Glory Days “Toddler Tent” features special activities again this year for youngsters 5 and under.

We’ve got fun and games to keep the little ones entertained for hours! All toddlers must be accompanied by an adult.

The Toddler Tent will be located on the northeast side of the Courthouse. It will be open on THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY (2nd-4th) 12PM TILL 5PM.

ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR, THERE WILL ALSO BE A BOUNCE HOUSE FOR THE KIDS, SET UP RIGHT NEXT TO THE TODDLER TENT AND OPERATE DURING THE SAME HOURS.
