Hey there — Event Coordinator here. 👋

Now, I know we here at Terror on Washington Street have a reputation to uphold, so we're not usually in the business of getting all warm, fuzzy and sentimental. We prefer screams, darkness and questionable decisions involving power tools. 😂

But I want to break character for a minute and recognize some people who truly deserve it — our Haunted House crew.

What people see in October is the finished product. They see the lights, the sets, the scares and all the creepy little details that make Terror on Washington Street what it is. What they don't always see are the countless hours that happen before those doors ever open.

The building. The painting. The cleaning. The decorating. The fixing. The hauling. The late nights. The ridiculous ideas that somehow turn into really cool rooms. The things we build, tear apart, move three times, stare at for ten minutes, and then move back to where they started. 😂

And, of course, the occasional reminder that Kelsey is no longer allowed on ladders. 🪜💀

This crew shows up. They work hard. They get dirty. They laugh, they create, they problem-solve, and they keep coming back to help us turn an old building on Washington Street into something hundreds of people look forward to walking through every October.

To my team - I see how much work you put into this place. I see the time you give up, the effort you put in, and the pride you take in making it better every year. And I hope you all know how sincerely grateful I am for every single one of you.

Terror on Washington Street isn't just rooms, props and scary actors. It's the people who bring it to life.

So, from your Event Coordinator and friend — from the bottom of my spooky little heart — thank you. 🧡🖤

I truly could not do this without you.

Now that's enough feelings. Get back to work. We have people to scare. 👻😂
