Sampson County is seeking a results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail to assume the management and program support for the Exposition Center. Working closely with community leaders to provide quality programming and focused events, this position oversees day-to-day functions and supervises a diverse staff to ensure operational efficiency and positive outcomes for clients, citizens, students, and personnel. Budgeting, event planning, maintaining social media content, email marketing, facility maintenance, vendor negotiations, contract management, financial record keeping, fundraising, inventory management, direct and indirect supervision of full and part-time staff, training, assisting with special projects, and establishing relationships and maintaining partnerships are all responsibilities of the position. This unique opportunity provides an opportunity to contribute positively to the quality of life for Sampson County citizens each day.
