CHEERS to Sydney and Delilah!

We traveled to New York City last weekend to attend the wedding of our dear friends’ daughter, who we have known since she was a young[er] girl.

Sydney married the love of her life, Delilah, during a beautiful ceremony, with an amazing sunset, and a view of the city! Their family is so dear to our hearts, and we came back with bridal flowers, which Grace is now processing in order to fulfill a unique [first-of-its-kind] art request for the happy couple.

We loved seeing everyone gussied up for this, THE Wedding! and you’ve heard him say it, right? when meeting new people, his intro goes something like, “Hi! I’m Ken, like Ken and Barbie” — if not, now you have. And playing ‘dress up’ to celebrate? We wore a matching tie and silk scarf [printed with Grace’s Kochi, Japan sketch] that were perfect for the colorful black tie event.

The evening was over-the-[roof]-top magical! And may we all experience everlasting love that is filled with peace, joy & kindness.

♦️We are incredibly thankful to both Emma and Kenzy for everything they contributed — warmth, thoughtfulness, creativity, professionalism — for making our gallery experience better and brighter this summer!

We’re going to miss having them around and wish them a wonderful year ahead in college.

♦️We’ll be back this Saturday, August 15, from 9 AM to 1 PM at Fresh Market on The Square [west end parking lot, next to the courthouse] in Downtown Clinton, with HYFA merchandise and a selection of Grace's original art signed GYang.

♦️Our next exhibition starts October 8th with Opening Reception on Saturday, November 14, from 10 AM to 2 PM — please mark your calendars as this date will coincide with Open House for participating small businesses in Downtown Clinton.

♦️As always, one of our favorite parts of HYFA is getting to spend time with old friends, family, longtime supporters, and people discovering the gallery for the very first time.

😞 only 2 of the original 4 paintings survived … ☮️ “peace” and ❌⭕️❌⭕️ “hugs & kisses” [each, also 36x36” mixed media] were accidentally damaged while sitting in storage 🥹❤️‍🩹 still, 10 years later …🧐… re-create the lost pieces? apparently, still infatuated 🤩 >>> next painting

We’re excited to welcome our *returning* gallery associate, Kenzy Yang and *new* gallery associate, Emma Mitchell to our HYFA team!

Both jumped right in with art-working in our studio*gallery*shop Ho Yang Fine Art which is the heart of what we do within the existing art exhibition experience — individually and collaboratively — we are working artists.

In addition to helping with HYFA’s newsletters, marketing and events, Emma and Kenzy are designing original art for new HYFA merchandise — and painting co****le boards, showcasing soon!

I could not be happier with the professionalism and good vibes that all our gallery associates contribute to our space and growth ❤️

And looking ahead, Ken and I are excited to be a participating business at Downtown Clinton’s Fresh Market: Saturdays 9am - 1pm on August 1, August 15, [[ *** edit: HYFA will not be at Fresh Market on September 19 *** ]] along with other local vendors!

I attended NCMA AIM Day * Saturday, June 6, 2026 …so much fun celebrating alongside art and artists at NC Museum of Art [museum tour led by docents / artists panel Q&A / pop-up market / the museum store]

Inspired by the collective good vibes from the day’s gathering & deeply thankful for NCMA AIM [Artist Innovation Mentorship] support in the creation of our Downtown Clinton Mural, Spring 2025 - completed with Clinton High School art teacher, Michael Ray and art students.
