Our hearts are broken 💔

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a valued, creative and dedicated volunteer.

Barry de Versterre was a close and dear friend to all who knew him and worked with him at the Red Mill Museum Village and at the Haunted Red Mill.

Barry has worked at Haunted since 2008 and was know as the inventor, designer, builder and the fixer. When asked by the crew if he could make something, he always had the positive response:

“Yes, of course! We can build that!!”

He touched the lives of so many of us and will be truly missed. To know Barry was to love Barry!
