I will be a first time participant at this event. It will be the biggest event I’ve done so far. Mark those calendars and hope to see you there.
Mark your calendar for the 24th Annual Robinson Township Autumn Festival, presented by Diehl Automotive of Robinson and sponsored by SGM Tree, LLC. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 19 from 12:00pm-9:00pm at the Burkett Recreation and Sports Complex, located at 5515 Moon Run Park Road, McKees Rocks.
The festival will feature over 125 craft, goods, and information vendors, along with nearly 20 food and beverage vendors. Stay tuned next week for those details. Local youth groups will be showcasing their talents and hard work on our main stage from 11:30am-2:15pm. From 3:00pm-5:00pm, Coastal Country Band will be here and at 6:30 we will be bringing you Steel Horse Riders, a tribute to Bon Jovi and Journey. The night will be capped off at 9:00pm with fireworks.
In the Family Fun Zone, you will find face painting, balloon twisting, pumpkin painting sponsored by Tender Care Learning Centers, mini golf, a trackless train, a variety of inflatables, a rock climbing wall, the V-5 Ultimate Bungee Jump, and 2 amusement park rated rides.
We are extremely proud to share that the Township of Robinson has been selected as a recipient of a Main Streets Allegheny grant award. This investment will assist us in bringing this event to you and allow us to provide all of these rides and amusements for you and your family FREE of charge. This project was made possible through Main Streets Allegheny, an initiative of County Executive Sara Innamorato with funding provided by the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County. We are grateful to ACED for their support of our community.
