12 SV Choir students were nominated to attend the Middle School Indiana Circle the State With Song. These students put in extra rehearsals over the course of January and February to learn 6 pieces, in different genres and languages. The students went to Clarke Pleasant Middle School to sing with other Area 5 middle school students and their clinician.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the SV and NV Choirs and the rest of the arts department at the 3rd Annual Winter Wonderland! The students did fantastic! Up next… Broadway Cabaret - See you in February! Until then, you can check out the SV Chamber Choir singing at all home varsity boys basketball games.

Another Choral Festival, but this time it was at Mrs. Ellis’ alma mater, DePauw University! The SV Chamber Choir got to join 6 other Indiana schools and learn 3 pieces. Catie Adamson was selected to perform in a Master Class where she learned new techniques and skills to improve her solo performance. I am so proud of these girls and their commitment to the arts - 2 choral festivals in one week, WOW!

What a fun day at WRC Choral Festival! This trip is always a fun day and our students truly shined tonight. Their singing was amazing and we even featured one of our altos on the flute - go Dannica Berry! Thank you to all the families that drove an hour to support your child in what they love to do - some of our middle school students made the trip to support their older siblings. Thankfully, we had extra donuts from this morning! Go SV Choir! 🎵🐯
