What a phenomenal season!! This group of kids have been outstanding all season long and should keep their heads up high. From heartbreak at the first match of the season to making the state tournament for the 3rd consecutive year, they battled it all as a team and they never waivered from that and today was no different.

For team event today they started out with the best 5 game set they’ve ever had at state with 1022 total pin fall. The second set of 5 games weren’t much different, they started to see some carry issues and split trouble but nothing they could handle and finished at 2000 for 10 games. The third set we ran into a buzz saw of a pair, where nothing was carrying and the splits caught up to us. They finished with 2789 only 62 pins out of the top 5 that make it on.

🏆 It’s finally here…Wisconsin High School State Championships Weekend! 🎳

The Clinton Cougars Bowling Team has qualified for the State Championships and the team will hit the lanes Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 PM where they will throw in 15 games against the best teams in the state.

We also have two Individual State Qualifiers representing the Cougars:
🎳 Joey Gracyalny
🎳 Evin Splan

Joey and Evin will bowl 3 qualifying games today at 3:30 PM as they compete for an individual state title.

Title Matches will be on local TV, Sunday morning!!

This is an incredible accomplishment for our bowlers and we are proud to represent Clinton and our entire community at the state level once again.

Shout Out to all of the youth bowlers that competed in our annual, Youth 3 Man Baker Fundraiser Tournament! 8 games of qualifying, Top 6 moved on to a double elimination match play bracket, with the Black Fish (Drew Maly, Evin Splan, Joey Gracyalny) winning the final championship match against "The Misfits". What an exciting day of competition!! Thank you all again for supporting the Cougars Bowling Team! Next week we prepare for the Wisconsin State Championships, March 6th - 8th!

This Sunday! Great opportunity for all youth bowlers grades 7-12!! 🎳

Sunday is the day for our HIGH SCHOOL BAKER TOURNAMENT!
3 bowlers per team with a prize of $300 in scholarships going to the winning team.
Proceeds go to our Clinton High School Bowling Team who is headed off to state in March!

Good morning Cougar fans, hope your Monday is off to a great start.

Today is the day that our Varsity team looks to defend our house as the match tonight is at the world famous Cougar Lanes. Practice time starts at 4:15 and scoring will start at 4:30, so come on out and support the team.

For the JV teams and the Girls Varsity team there will not be practice tonight, but I encourage you guys to show up and support the Varsity, and reminder that their match will be in Monroe again this Thursday.

Good morning Cougar fans, hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. It’s been an eventful last couple weeks and it’s time for a recap.

The 2 JV teams are both 1-1. JV 1 is sitting at 134 for an average, and JV 2 sitting at 104 for an average.

The Girls team is 0-2 after the first two weeks with an average of 80, but have been in close games both weeks where the result could’ve been switched.

The Varsity team is sitting at 1-1 with an average of 182. After losing a heartbreaker the first week, losing the last game in the 10th frame by 2 pins, they bounced back and won all 9 games.

With matches resuming this week, each team is looking to keep on the right track and bring home some more wins and keep uping their averages.

Just a headsup for tonights Jv and Girls Varsity matches, they are repairing some concrete on River Street and it looks like from the picture below that its right infront of Riveredge. So just a heads up when traveling to the match tonight that the street will be closed.

Beginning Thursday, November 20, a contractor will be performing a repair to the concrete pavement on S. River Street at the intersection of W. Holmes Street. The intersection will be closed to through traffic from November 20 to November 24. A signed detour will be provided utilizing E. Racine Street, S. Main Street, and E./W. Court Street.t em

Good morning Cougar fans, we are officially one week away from that start of matches for the season. November 10th, our JV team and newly added Girls team will look to defend our home turf for the first time this season, while our Varsity team will travel to RiversEdge for their first match next Friday, November 14th.

Also quick reminder that there will be a parents meeting today around 5:15 to go over the up coming match season and to hand out the complete schedules.
