’Twas the night before Festival, and all through the town,
The banners were hung and the streets settled down.
The green, white and red waved proudly in sight,
As Clinton prepared for tomorrow’s delight. 🇮🇹
The Main Stage was ready, the Wine Garden too,
The vendors were waiting with plenty to do.
The carnival stood with its lights shining bright,
Ready for four days of Festival nights.
The meatballs were waiting, the spaghetti was near,
And everyone knew the best weekend was here!
The museums stood ready, the traditions held strong,
Soon Water Street would be bustling along.
For sixty great years, we’ve gathered this way,
With family and friends making memories each day.
From those who remember the Festivals before,
To kids making memories they’ll someday adore.
The work was near finished, the planning was done,
Now it was finally time for the fun.
So rest up tonight, Clinton — tomorrow we’ll say:
“WELCOME TO FESTIVAL!” 🇮🇹🍇
Here’s to tradition, to memories, and more,
To the Festival we’ve all been waiting for.
Happy Festival Eve to all, and to all a good night!
