I should have closed this out with all of you a while ago - sorry about that. We gave Mayor Janice Kovach the checks from the tickets sales for The Haunting on the River to give to the Clinton Fire Department and the Rescue Squad since no one from those organizations could be at the showing when we also gave a check to The Red Mill. She had pictures taken and here they are. Thanks again to all who helped to celebrate the first anniversary of the movie. Keep following us for news about what's next for the movie.

Wow! What a great time last night at the final anniversary showing of the locally made movie, The Haunting on the River. Many of the stars were there as well as other cast members, all who were critical to the movie's success. The movie Director/Screenwriter, Producer, Clinton Mayor, and the Director of The Red Mill all gave brief words about the movie, and checks from the ticket donations were given to The Red Mill, the Clinton Fire Department and the Emergency Services organization.

Stay tuned here for more information about the movie. We will let you know about any future showings. It has been submitted to film festivals and we're waiting to see if the submissions are accepted. The movie cannot be made commercially available until we are through the festival process, and no discussions on how to make the movie available have happened as yet. We thank you for your patience as the future of the movie is determined.

Thank you again to everyone involved in making the movie, and to all of those who came to see it, giving donations to the above non-profit organizations.

Music can make or break a movie. It adds intensity, sweetness, excitement, fear…. Watching a movie without music would be quite boring. The background music for the movie, The Haunting on the River, was created by the movie’s creator. He is a very talented man! He even wrote a couple songs for the movie. Earl Scooter, a local accredited singer, joined the cast as the singer in the band at the Halloween Party. A must see movie in just one week, Friday, August 4th, 8:30pm at The Red Mill in Clinton. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.com up to one hour before the event for $14 plus tax and fees. You can also enter on-site by making a $20 per person cash donation to an attendant.
