The new Beyond the Chair shop is coming together, but I’m not gonna lie, this build-out has been one hell of a challenge.
We’re running out of time, there’s still a lot that needs to be done, and I’m spending more money going out than I have coming in right now. Every time I get one thing taken care of, something else gets added to the list.
And the pressure is real because it’s not just me depending on this. I have artists and employees who depend on Beyond the Chair for their income and their livelihood. I have people counting on me to get this place open and keep things moving.
I’m doing everything I can to make that happen.
One thing I could really use some help with right now is the plumbing permit. If anyone knows a licensed plumber who can help me pull the permit without requiring a big deposit just to come out and then adding a bunch of other charges on top of it, please send them my way.
I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m just being honest about where things are at and asking if someone out there knows somebody who can actually help.
We have a lot riding on getting this shop open, and I’m going to keep fighting to make it happen.
