The inside of my shop! Not done done but done enough that I’ll be carving in it tomorrow! 😁😁😁😁 super excited except I have to roll this giant rock all the way around the garage cause I put it on the wrong side of the shop and it’s too big to go beside it the way I’m able to move it haha 🙄😭

I’m sorry for the recent break, the weather has been a ton better recently and there has been a TON of other things that “needed” to get done and a bit of rest that needed to be caught up on. This weekend was the last one without progress on the fountain until the lions season starts 👌🦁 Finishing up the changes in the yard and to the work station than we’ll be back at it by next weekend for sure. Sorry for the break hopefully I’ll announce the next one happy to be getting back at it though!

Alright I’m terrible at remembering to upload on Tuesdays and I’m incredibly excited so here goes an update! No video cause it was all inside and cramped but we are an hour away from knowing if I’m onto the finishing part of the fountain. I’ll be testing it tonight I’m super scared haha wish me luck and check it out! TikTok ricksrocks22 to see the whole process start to almost finish! Hopefully gonna post a video of water flowing through my first-to-this-stage fountain! Still too much detail work to call it finished but we’re getting real close!! Wish me luck or pray for me or send good vibes or something haha I’m real nervous right now 🫣😂👌

I’m sticking to uploads on Tuesday but that doesn’t mean I can’t say that I’m almost completely done carving the fountain, I just finished setting the sculpting clay now I just have to wait for it to dry to drill holesin the clay, add my additional pieces to place the pump, and add my few covering stones, a few coats of sealer and than just carve the bottom and it’s done! I am unbelievably happy and proud of this, I should be able to have videos of the completed (not sealed but functional) fountain this Tuesday if everything works out right!! Here’s a picture of the back of it from today haha a little preview 👌

I’m proud of myself haha. More progress Tuesday, today we’re taking a break and thinking about the next steps and all the options instead of just jumping on the first possible option I think of. Wish me luck I hope I can work this out haha. I need to remember that I’ve never gotten through to this part of a fountain project and take time and think it through. Unbelievably proud that although it is frustrating to sit and think on a beautiful day I could be working but it’s an incredibly necessary step that I’m glad to finally be attempting haha 🙄😂👌 I’ll have more videos and pictures up Tuesday for you! At least it’s beautiful outside good to take a break on an enjoyable day!
