Do you improvise? Sing? Act? Harmonize? Maybe you commit to a bit so hard that it becomes fully improvised music?

HotMic is holding auditions in August 2026, and we’re looking for up to three new performers… especially performers with lower vocal ranges (baritone/bass).

Auditions: Monday, August 10th 2026 | 8-10:00 pm
Callbacks: Monday, August 17th 2026 | 8-10:00 pm
Clifton Comedy Theatre (CCT) 404 Ludlow Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio.

To register: fill out the AUDITION FORM by August 5.

Curious but not ready to take the dive? You’re welcome to observe rehearsals on July 27th at CCT from 7:30-9:30pm to learn more about how we work.

That’s a different day and a different weekend than our usual show—so update your calendar, alert the group chat, and prepare for a completely improvised musical made up right before your eyes. One audience suggestion. Zero script. Maximum wholehearted chaos.

Come start your weekend with songs, scenes, and stories that have never existed before, and will never exist again.

FRIDAY. JULY 17. 7:30 PM.
Don’t accidentally show up on our usual night. That would be a very experimental solo show.

And the best part?
Sometimes someone just starts singing… and the band figures it out in real time!

That’s the magic of HotMic.
