Good Morning Peoples…
Dads, Fathers, Pops, Pop pops, etc…
A large percentage my generation, because our fathers were absent (and we knew how it felt ) took being a father seriously.
And…Marriage, what’s that?!
Unfortunately, we didn’t have the benefit of a seeing a Father/Husband in his natural habitat, doing the damn thang.
Our collective homes were usually a Matriarchal household.
(Shout out to Moms)
As a result we had no blueprint to build off of, and at times It was all from the mud( so to say).
On the job training to say the least.
But, because of the effort things got better.
So if you’re reading this, and wanna give up/in because of how hard it is….
Be encouraged to finish the job, so the next round of Dads at least has something to go on and continue to get better.
Even when it seems there’s no reward, we know better.
You don’t want no dumb dumb, raising your grandkids.
