I am borrowing this from Patsy Snead. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️The 2 of us in our 2 Small towns share a love and compassion not only for our community but for the youth of community. Watching their smiles is the biggest payoff of them all. A reminder to me, Garlynda A Haynes

If you are a studio owner or a teacher, you have likely spent years making sure everyone around you feels seen. You celebrate your dancers, your teachers, your families.

You deserve some of that, too.

You cannot pour from an empty cup. You also cannot lead from a place where nothing you do ever feels like enough. Take the two minutes in the car after a long day. Take the quiet moment in the office when the building is finally empty.

Look around.

Kids are happy here.
Art is happening here.
Community is alive here.

You built that.

At some point today, give yourself credit for the job you have done and the person you have become along the way. Then, when you turn back to “What is next,” you will be doing it from a place of truth instead of never ending pressure.
