Hello everyone,
I hope you all had an awesome summer and that our CMS artists had a great first couple of weeks of school. Just a couple of housekeeping items.
- Art 1 and Art 2 students need to make sure that they have their sketchbooks as having one will be part of their grade. We do sell them here in the art room however we've been having some issues with our normal supplier and should be getting some in this week. Alternative places to get sketchbooks are at Walmart, Amazon, the Dollar Store, as well as any arts and craft stores (Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc. ) If there are extenuating circumstances obtaining one please contact Mr. Lampley @ [email protected].
- Our first art projects are due this week. Commercial Art just had their first project due today (8/24) and Art 1 and 2 have theirs due this Thursday (8/27).
It's been an awesome start to the school year thus far and we can't wait to share news of the work you're students are doing in the CMS Art Department this year.
