PANDEMONIUM UPDATE! As usual, we'll have some incredible dining options at Pandemonium 2026: Under Construction 🏗️. One of our favorite restaurants (as if they all aren't 😉) is our neighbor directly next door to Cleveland Public Theatre, . They are actually a staff post-show and post-rehearsal favorite that has a great patio, earthy interior and happy hour specials to "live" for! They've also got great weekend brunch options, and we also don't know where else in the city you can find fantastic tasting skull-shaped cornbread.

As one of CPT's longest running Pandemonium partners, we can't wait to taste what they're cooking up for this year's Pandemonium on Sat., Sept. 19. They're also one of several dining options for this year's event, so stay tuned for more profiles. For info on Pandemonium, click the link in our bio.

Do you have your tickets yet? Pandemonium 2026: Under Construction is on sale now! We've got theatrical pieces, rappelers, bands and so much more. We also have food from some of your favorite Cleveland dining establishments and luminaries (more on this later). Proceeds allow us to develop new work from emerging and established artists, offer free life-changing education programs for ages 5 to 19, and adults who are turning their lives around after hardships.

As the title of this year's event says, we're "Under Construction," so you'll be able to witness some of the renovations that the team at Marous Brothers Construction have been hard at work at these past few months. For ticket information click the link in our bio.

The PILOT Project, a creative cohort program guided by Cleveland Public Theatre’s Executive Artistic Director & CEO Raymond Bobgan, explores innovations in theatrical performance and preparing artists to apply for the upcoming SoftLaunch festival on January 28-30. To be considered, Artists/PILOTs must commit to attending all workshops (one absence can be permitted) on Saturday Oct. 3, 10, 17 at 10am -1pm, and Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2:00pm – 5:00pm. The deadline for application is in two weeks on Sept. 2, 2026.

Click the link in our bio for more info. While you're there, be sure to check out the info on SoftLaunch, a great opportunity for artists in its third year! Pieces that have come out of this program have developed into long-form theatrical pieces that have traveled the country.

Special thanks to our talented Graphic Design Intern Kareen Dakdouk who came to work with us this summer from a sponsorship through Studio In a School. She spent 8 weeks with us creating the show imagery for CPT's Student Theatre Enrichment Program (STEP) show "Getting Back to Once Upon a Time" including the STEP Team T-shirt pictured below--a big hit with staff! We wish her much success in all future endeavors.

What a summer! A big CONGRATULATIONS to the Student and Teaching Artists of Cleveland Public Theatre's Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) Cleveland Act Now (CAN) program who recently wrapped up their summer sessions at Lakeview Terrace, Outhwaite Homes and Riverside Park Homes. The students learned movement, performance, dance and more and created a story inspired by Peter Pan set to the music of Michael Jackson (you can probably tell 😉). Thanks to all who came out to see the show!
