Meet Hayley Drew Jannielli

Hayley (she/they) is an actor, voice educator, dialect coach and Assistant Professor of Voice and Acting at CWRU Theater. Originally from San Diego, Hayley earned her M.F.A. in Acting from the University of California, Irvine. She is a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher, trained in Knight-Thompson Speechwork, and a core officer of The Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA).

Applications to join the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program in Fall of 2027 are now LIVE!

We will be auditioning in Cleveland, New York City, Chicago, and Fullerton, CA as well as through URTA

THE 2025 MFA SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are thrilled to announce our season which features the CLASS OF 2028!

First up is POCATELLO by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by David Vegh which runs October 7-17!

Welcome to the best Italian restaurant in Pocatello, Idaho—where the coffee is hot, the customers have their quirks…and personal drama is on the menu. In this heartfelt comedy, a struggling restaurant becomes the gathering place for an unforgettable cast of regulars and coworkers, all trying to figure out what comes next as the world around them is transformed by the endless artificiality of strip malls and chain restaurants. Warm, hilarious, and deeply human, Pocatello is a funny and moving reminder that even when life doesn't go according to plan, we're all in it together.

URTA Audition dates are out for 2027! It's early but that's a good thing as people start to consider what they are looking for. We audition both through URTA as well as independently with private auditions in NYC and Chicago. URTA is a great organization which allows you to be seen by multiple schools for a single payment so it's certainly something to consider. We will be posting more information on our website in the next month which will give you a good idea of what might work best for your needs.

This group of exceptional emerging actors were selected from across the country to train, perform, and grow this summer on the grounds of the Chautauqua Institution.

These talented actors hail from prestigious training programs including Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House, David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University, The Juilliard School, NYU Tisch, the University of Connecticut, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill/PlayMakers Repertory Company, and will be at the heart of CTC’s 2026 season, bringing bold stories to life on CTC stages and within the community.
