This year, our color stories center around exotic, far away lands full of adventure, whimsy and magic. January’s adventure takes us to Reykjavik, Iceland where our mind’s eye imagines glaciers of unimaginably vibrant shades of blue and night skies painted in mysterious hues of plum and magenta. The chill in the air doesn’t matter much; it’s our eyes and souls that are transformed by a place often dreamt about but rarely visited. 💜🎨📗🖋️

This one is a little different from our usual Paper Iris stationery treasures.

We hand-drew this illustration of my dear friend Steph’s shop, The Nest, and when we finished… we cried. Truly.

Not because it was perfect, but because it was full. Full of love, memories, admiration, and so much heart.

Every line was drawn with intention — thinking about her dream, her courage, the warmth she’s created, and the beauty she pours into that space every single day. This piece reminded me that creativity isn’t always about what we sell… sometimes it’s about what we feel.

It may not be a notepad or a sticker sheet, but it’s still a Paper Iris treasure — just a different kind. One made slowly, thoughtfully, and with a whole lot of love.

So grateful we get to create pieces like this, and even more grateful for friendships that inspire art like this. 💜🎨🖋️ ✨🏡🌸
