I love running this page, but if there's one thing I spend a lot of time doing is "running around" on social media. I am MORE than happy to help promote your show, but please provide me the following information:
1. For a show; *direct link* for tickets, or a place with info for buying tickets. For auditions; a direct link for sign ups, or even a post that has all of the audition information on it. This makes it more consumer friendly. The less clicking around, the less likely you are to lose someone along the way. I've come across many sites that aren't user friendly and take me a while to find what I need.
2. A *graphic* that contains the information of: the theatre presenting the show, show/audition dates, the show title. Because that is what an *info graphic* is for! To give all of the information in a concise way. Your captions or descriptions are what can provide even more information, but provide the bullet points on the graphic. This is what I spend most of my time doing, adding dates, audition ages, theatre names, and even searching for show graphics for you all. So providing me with that will save me hours.
3. Please give me the info *MORE than a week before* the show goes up, as I schedule my posts to go live during tech week of shows opening! For auditions, I schedule that the Wednesday before the Sunday to Saturday of the week following. If you give information less than a week before, I can’t guarantee posting it. There is no such thing as "too early" to give me submissions.
