Hey friends 💛 We've been quiet over here, and we owe you an update.
Last week, our stepmom Bonnie — our dad Frank's devoted wife of 38 years — was life-flighted to Cleveland Clinic with a major aortic tear. We dropped everything and headed to be with Dad and our dear stepsisters. Bonnie passed away Thursday. 💔
On the same heartbreaking day, our sister-in-law lost her father unexpectedly too. Our family gathered from near and far — kids, grandkids, cousins and even great-grandkids. Bonnie had the most beautiful service Monday, and our sister-in-law's dad, Earl was honored Tuesday morning.
As many of you know, Dad has had such a long road this past year. He finally made it home to be with his Bon Bon, and now he's navigating unimaginable grief — losing Bonnie, their home, their pets, and so much of the life they built together. We're staying close to help him find his footing and get him back into the care he needs.
Beth and Mom has made it home late last night and Becky and our brother are staying with Dad a little longer to care for him and navigate his future.
We are so grateful for this community. Your love and prayers over this past year have meant everything to us. If you have a little extra in your heart right now, please keep Frank and our whole family as well as Earl's family in your thoughts. 🙏
