We had over three dozen people at today's bonsai club meeting where guest Robert Hoffman gave a presentation on wiring.

I hope you and your trees have been coping with the intense weather we've had this month!

Our July meeting will feature a presentation and workshop on Wire Application. This will primarily focus on teaching beginners and those new to the hobby how to apply wire and style a tree (although experienced practitioners may pick up some tips as well.)

Our guest presenter will be Rob Hoffman of Yume-en Bonsai and president of the Columbus Bonsai Society. His presentation will run roughly 2 hours, we'll break for lunch(pizza will be provided) and then have a workshop session. There is no cost to participate in the workshop but please send me an email to let me know if you plan to join. Bring your own tree(s), tools and wire. Dan will likely have wire available for purchase as well.

Both the Cleveland and Sandusky Bonsai Clubs will have trees on display. Black River Bonsai, Ken's World of Bonsai and Ancient Art Bonsai will also be there. It's going to be a great show!

Greetings Everyone!
My apologies for the late announcement.

At our meeting this month we'll do a recap and review of our annual show. Photos have been posted on our page - Special thanks to Cindy Schwind for helping to edit them! Marian will have checks for all those who sold items on the club table.

In preparation for our July class on wiring, we will be talking about pruning this month. For those who are newer to bonsai, we will go over how to clean and prune a bonsai in preparation for wiring and styling.
