Step behind the curtain with director Christopher Liam Moore for an inside look at Private Lives, Noël Coward’s sparkling comedy of romance, wit, and rekindled passion, now playing at Cleveland Play House. When divorced former lovers unexpectedly find themselves honeymooning with new spouses on neighboring balconies, old sparks ignite, tempers flare, and chaos ensues in one of the greatest romantic comedies ever written.

In this interview, Moore shares his vision for bringing Coward’s timeless masterpiece to life, explores the razor-sharp humor and emotional complexity at the heart of the play, and discusses why Private Lives continues to captivate audiences nearly a century after its debut.
