DANCECleveland is pleased to launch a new initiative, Northeast Ohio Dance Collaborative in an effort to connect our local dance community!

What is the Northeast Ohio Dance Collaborative? (NEODC)
NEODC is a new initiative of DANCECleveland meant to help support and bring Northeast Ohio dance community members together through:

-quarterly meetings and gatherings,
-shared planning and event calendars,
-collaborative marketing campaigns,
-opportunities to work with visiting artists,
-professional development opportunities.
-DANCECleveland will also engage local dance artists in paid opportunities each season through featured dance opportunities with visiting companies, pop-up performances at local events, informal showings, and more.

Sign up for our NEODC e-newsletter which will be sent out once per month, every third Thursday of the month! We will share local dance events, classes, job postings, opportunities and more, all focused on connecting the local Northeast Ohio dance community!
We encourage all dance community members start following the initiative, and contributing their own events, tagging NEODC and sharing it with other dance lovers!

The deadline to apply for the Youth Showcase has been extended to this WED. Please be sure to submit by Wed. in order for your young dancers to be considered!

Calling all Youth Dance Studios, Groups and Teams!
Have you ever dreamed of performing at Playhouse Square? Apply now to have your student dancers perform as part of the Northeast Ohio Student Showcase on Community Dance Day, July 25th at 3 pm at Playhouse Square presented by DANCECleveland. But Don’t Wait! Applications are Due by April 30th!

All youth dance groups with an average age between 8- 18 are welcome to apply and all styles of dance are encouraged! As part of the experience, your dancers will not only get to perform in the Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square, but tickets for the show are free, and the dancers will also get to participate in multiple different dance classes in a variety of styles throughout the day as they get ready to perform! *Approx. ten different groups will be selected and notified by May 22nd.
