The cable setup I have for my camera is not working the way it's intended to, but I have one on order from Canon that should fix the issue.
In the meantime I'm exploring a work around so that I can a the very least do my tutorial on wet-blending. Apologizes for the further delays.

Alrighty my friends, the time is afoot. When I started this little side project I didn't expect instant engagement from so many people...thank you for that!
So I decided that if I'm going to do this properly I had to upgrade from my cell phone in my airbrush mount to a decent quality setup. I just need to get everything working together smoothly & I'll start adding more content...starting with the wet-blending video I dropped the ball on. Thank you for your continued support & I'm truly looking forward to hopefully helping you up your hoddy game🤓

I'm so excited to get my school-related tech! For those of you who don't know, this vid basically shows what I'm working on a degree in.
For my mini folks that means some original Tom creations lie ahead for y'all to print & paint😉 Ultimately the goal is to work in creature creation, & I love mythology, so there will be some cool stuff ahead for your painting enjoyment....cheers!

For those who are wondering, I will be continuing this project, but the studio is going through some adjustments & I'm working on some upgrades...namely to camera equipment.

I know I've been slacking lately, & I apologize. But, at the same time I have noticed a lack of engagement with the things I have posted, so I kinda feel as though I'm talking to myself with this project & have considered ditching it all together🤔 This is something I don't get paid for & it takes away time from the things I do get paid for....& I've got about a thousand of those projects, probably literally a thousand!
So, if you've found the information here useful & would like me to continue this project for your benifit, please give this post a like so I know I'm not just converting O2 into CO2 for nothing.

The camping trip was good, a little wet, but it put just that much further behind. So rather than reinventing the wheel I'll just share someone else's wheel😉
I explained making a color was, this video does a great job of explaining how to mix colors to a desired shade, & how to not "muddy" them up in the process.

All these years you've been lied to about color....this article explains why & what the true primary colors are.
You may be asking, well why is this important Tom? The answer is simply, "Once you know the truth about color, you can lighten & darken without causing the desaturation or pasteling effects." Ultimately making using the color wash technique I shared more effective, as well as getting better looking highlight colors. It also has the added benefit of reducing your need for 75 different paint colors, & overall reducing hobby cost!

Is this video series "entry level"? Not really. Do I believe it would be beneficial for everyone of you to watch? Most definitely!
Sergio is a phenomenal painter/teacher, much better than I, & listening to him explain his process, listening to him talk about color may just help something click in you; I know I learned several things watching this one video series, & I believe all of you will as well.
