Major Project Themes
Our piece explores what it is like in real time to take on challenging conversations. We feel that much of the nuance that exists in navigating our relationships as human beings seems to have been traded in for a much more binary way of thinking about interpersonal relationships. What is actually on the table when two people meet to share their experiences with one another? What does it mean to bring your whole entire self into the space? What does it mean to really listen? To be truly honest even when it’s scary? What does it look like to truly make mistakes? Can we hold one another accountable and give grace? Can laying it all on the line be the critical piece of the puzzle that helps us move forward together?
