“Circle of Life”

First time I’ve tried this method and it’s really rewarding. Starting from scratch. 2022 was brutal. Thank God for the arts.

Meditating on how the forks of each branch and layers of each weave symbolise my life, and often as I weave, it doesn’t turn out quite as planned. And yes, branches snap and are flung across the room! Time to start again . . .

Sharing many different approaches to applying creativity in weave, in design, in expressing who you are and how you feel through weave is my goal in teaching – to unlock your personal creativity through nature and weave.

Well-Being Weaving will give you practical strategies for using various tools and weaving your way to better mental health and equilibrium, leaving you refreshed and able to cope more easily with the challenges of every-day life in our ‘brave new world’. Who knows – you might find yourself drawn to this wonderful world of Well-Being Weaving and want to learn more!

I did this tiny branch weaving today during my lunch break. Looks at home among its big sister’s! Beautiful day, think I’ll go back to park for more weaving while listening to live music 🐝🐝🐝

Decided to do a bit of weaving during the farmers market. Didn’t disappoint. Perfect afternoon. Warm breeze, hanging out on a blanket, listening to live music while snacking on gluten free brownies 🤎 Few more sessions like this and what stress?! Bonus… cool piece of fiber art to display

I’m thinking this looks a bit like pebbles along a shoreline, what colors to add next? I love the organic nature of weaving and how the piece will tell you what it wants to look like.

The day didn’t start well my check engine light came on and stayed on even after an oil change. To ease the stress I popped into my favorite thrift store next door to the mechanics. My mood was quickly elevated when I found this beautiful bundle of yarn that perfectly compliments the art on display at the gallery hosting my first workshop. Just one of the many ways weaving can be used as a grounding tool for stress. I immediately started to concentrate on how excited I felt about my find and upcoming workshop and how welcoming the venue has been and my stress level was lowered and I was able to see my check engine light isn’t the end of the world. My car is a 2002 and I’m fortunate it’s lasted this long. Reframing your mindset is everything! My workshop is this Thursday June 23 tickets are available via my bio or Kaiser Gallery. Join us on June 23 from 7-8:30 PM for a Branch Weaving Workshop with Tremont artist Patsy Coffey Kline.

Branch weaving uses a forked or “Y” shaped branch as a loom. Learn relaxing weaving techniques, and you’ll leave with an original work of art.

This workshop is for all levels, especially those that think they are not creative. You can do this! Bring a friend or meet new ones. It’s a fun, colorful, and easy way to experience flow mediation of the weaving process while connecting with others and nature.

All materials and instruction included. Also includes a glass of wine or mimosa. Tickets on sale now!
