When randomly dropped into one of our Late Night shows, we had no idea what to expect.

When we began booking this year’s Hoots & Hollers Comedy Club lineup, he was one of the first names that came up.

The way he can grab an audience’s attention so they hang onto every word is a skill to be studied, and this past weekend was no different.

Week 2 of our summer residency is in the books and momentum is starting to pick up.

Can’t wait to come back this weekend with our next headliner, Shaunak Godkhindi, a rapid fire comedic powerhouse who flawlessly can create an hour of improvised standup if he wanted to.

To close out the summer, we’ve got .

We’ve been a fan of Joe’s comedy for years.

He’s one of those comedians who can take a completely ordinary topic, look at it from an angle nobody else would think of, and leave you wondering how he got there.

Some comics are storytellers, some are crowd work killers, Joe is a joke writer in the purest sense.

Every setup, every turn, every punchline feels carefully crafted without ever feeling forced.

He’s appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and is a regular favorite among NateLand listeners. His special Cult Classic was directed by Nate Bargatze.

More importantly, he’s just ridiculously funny.

We couldn’t think of a better way to close out this year’s Hoots & Hollers lineup.

Welcome to One More Joke: A Cleveland Comedy Showcase!

Hosted by & of Henceforth Comedy, One More Joke is evolving to highlight some of Northeast Ohio’s most promising up-and-coming comedians and touring professionals while keeping the unpredictable energy that made the show a local favorite with one-minute bucket sets.

Each week features a curated lineup of rising comics performing longer showcase sets in front of you, the audience, giving Cleveland’s next generation of stand-up talent a chance to prove how funny they are.

Plus, throughout the night, a handful of comedians will be randomly selected from the bucket to perform a one-minute set. Whether it’s a future headliner testing a new joke or a comic taking their first shot on stage, anything can happen when your name gets called.

The result is a fast-paced comedy showcase with just enough unpredictability to keep everyone on the edge of your seats.

No cover + Cheap drinks + Great comics = the perfect way to shorten your week

🚨 Headliner Announcement 🚨

Last year, ’s weekend headlining Hoots & Hollers ended up being one of the most fun weekends of the summer at .

By the time his weekend rolled around, guests had spent the summer seeing Bryan open shows, work the door, introduce comedians, and chat with people after the shows.

Then he put it all together for a truly electric weekend of shows.

Even people who had seen him multiple times throughout the season were coming up afterward talking about how it felt like a completely different show.

This summer he’ll be back doing what he always does: making a theater of 200 feel like a living room with your funniest friend, making you laugh at things you wouldn’t normally laugh at, and making you feel like part of it.

First weekend of Hoots & Hollers Comedy Club at is in the books.

brought it for six straight shows. It’s fun to be able to watch the ebbs and flows of shows with six different audiences, especially at a venue still getting used to stand-up comedy.

12 more weeks of summer!
