Happy custom Thursday!! This week we get to celebrate Eddie and Hannah on their recent engagement!!! Eddie came in to design a classic toi et moi ring….with a twist. Initially unsure if we would go the colored diamond route, I brought in a bunch of options from M I S F I T so we could really play with composition, scale, and the possibility of color. I initially fell in love with this geo-cut oval in a deep C6 champagne color, and might’ve been secretly (or not) really pulling for her. Eddie with a helpful team of mom and sister-in-law pulled the trigger on this amazing 1.71ct VS2 C6 oval cut from the Culinan mine, paired with a perfect 0.7ct F VS1 natural pear diamond. Set in 14kt yellow gold, this ring is an absolute stunner. I love how the champagne coloring and step cuts on the oval complement and contrast the brilliant white pear cut.

It’s always great to be able to help friends celebrate milestones and this week’s custom Thursday is a perfect example. Adam and Ashlee are coming up on almost 20 years married with a beautiful life and three awesome kids to show for it. Adam reached out to design a ring for Ashlee that showcased her personality with a unique center stone and a sparkly classic setting. We found this really gorgeous marquise shaped diamond from M I S F I T and flanked it with our signature triad accent of white brilliant diamonds. I love this center stone. Its gentle ombré effect - moving from dark to light to dark is so dynamic, and really accented by the compass oriented prongs Adam opted for. Welcome to the LMJ Family and congrats on your anniversary, here’s to many more!!!
