Varsity Band is leveling up for the Swamp! 🐊✨
The roar doesn’t stop on Friday nights! Our Varsity Band is hard at work in the band room expanding our Semiquincentennial halftime show music and perfecting our drill.
Not only are these high school musicians working to bring you bigger and bolder Friday night performances, but they are also prepping for their huge upcoming performance at the University of Florida High School Band Day at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium! 🇺🇸🎷
We are so proud of their drive, leadership, and dedication to excellence every single day. Keep up the amazing work, Raptors! 🦖🔥

Building the future in Junior Band! 🎺🎶

Every great musician starts with the fundamentals! Our Junior Band students are making incredible progress every day as they master reading music notation, refining their posture, and learning the ropes of their brand-new instruments. 🎼✨

Watching these middle school musicians gain confidence and find their sound is one of the best parts of our week. The future of the Raptor Regiment is looking brighter (and louder!) than ever! 🦖🥁

What a Week in RLCA Performing Arts! 🎭🎶🏈
From the stage to the gridiron, our students were hard at work bringing the energy all week long! Here is a look back at what we accomplished together:
🕵️ Get a Clue Cast Announcement! Our High School Theatre Arts class officially cast their Fall production of Get a Clue! Huge congratulations to all the actors—rehearsals are under way, and the mystery is officially unfolding!
🐠 Finding Nemo Jr. Rehearsals in Full Swing! Our Grades 4–8 performers spent the week diving deep into music, blocking, and choreography for Finding Nemo Jr. They are making huge waves already!
🏈 Friday Night Lights & USA Theme Night! We capped off the week with an incredible show under the lights! The Raptor Regiment and Color Guard brought the house down with our Semiquincentennial halftime performance, the school spirit was unmatched! ✨🦖

Friday Night Lights Are Back TONIGHT! 🏈🎺🚩
The wait is officially over—it’s game day! Come out and support our football team, the Raptor Regiment and Color Guard as we kick off the school year with massive school spirit! ✨
The Raptor Regiment will lead us in the National Anthem 🎵 and are are ready to take the field with a powerful halftime show celebrating America’s Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary)! Get ready for patriotic sound, crisp drill, and incredible energy under the lights. ✨
Bring the roar 🦖, wear your Red, White, and Blue (USA THEME NIGHT), and let’s make some noise in the stands! See you tonight! 📣🏟️

🔍 Spotlight: Theatre Arts Class in Action! 🎭🔎
The game is afoot in Theatre Arts! 🕵️‍♂️✨
Our upper school Theatre Arts students are hard at work this week auditioning for their Fall play, “Get a Clue!” 🧩🎭
From practicing character choices and stage presence to diving into cold readings, these students are putting in the effort to sharpen their dramatic skills before stepping into the audition room. Who will be the mastermind? Who holds the secret? You’ll have to wait and see! 🚪🔑

🐊 Big News for the Raptor Regiment & Color Guard! 🎺🥁🚩
The Raptor Regiment is swamp-bound! 🐊💙🧡
We are thrilled to announce that our high school students in the Raptor Regiment and Color Guard will be participating in the 2026 University of Florida High School Band Day on Saturday, September 12, 2026! 🏟️✨
Our students will join high school marching bands from across the state to rehearse and perform live on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium alongside the world-famous Fightin’ Gator Marching Band! 🐊🎷
This is an incredible opportunity for our performers to showcase their hard work on a massive stage, learn from collegiate staff, and experience the energy of a major university game day!

That’s a Wrap on Week 1 of Finding Nemo Jr.! 🐠🎭✨
What an incredible start to our theatrical journey under the sea! The energy in the room this week was absolutely unmatched. 🌊🎬
Thursday: The cast officially gathered for our very first table read-through! Reading through the script together for the first time brought the story to life and showed off the amazing talent in this cast.
Friday: We jumped straight into action with our first choreography rehearsal! The cast brought the big blue world to life with some fantastic dance moves and high-energy staging. 🐙💃
A massive shoutout to all of our Grades 4–8 performers for jumping in with so much focus, enthusiasm, and hard work right out of the gate!
Rest up those dancing feet this weekend, Raptors—we’re just getting started! 🦖🐚

Calling all High Schoolers! Ready to get’cha head in the game? 🏀🎭🎶
We are officially gearing up for our Spring production of High School Musical, and it’s going to be wild!
If you are a high school student interested in being part of the cast, crew, or pit—now is the time to get connected. The official High School Musical Band App (link in bio 🔗) is NOW OPEN! Auditions are expected to be late October or early November. This show is currently for grades 9-12 only. If additional roles need to be filled we will open first to 8th, then 7th, then 6th.
We’re all in this together—don’t miss out on being part of an incredible spring show! 🎤✨
