💕 Bay Street Players is pleased to announce a special benefit performance of MATILDA THE MUSICAL on WEDNESDAY, MAY 31.
Proceeds from this performance will benefit Lake Cares Food Pantry, and donations of non-perishable food items will also be collected at the performance!

Lake Cares Food Pantry provides food and other necessary items directly to the people who need assistance in Lake County, Florida. Lake Cares could not achieve its goals without the support of a generous community and guidance of the Second Harvest Food Bank, who primarily acts as the storehouse for millions of pounds of food and other products distributed to Central Florida food pantries. In 2022, Lake Cares served 67,329 individuals, with approximately 65% being senior and disabled clients, and distributed approximately 25,000 pounds of food each week.
Additionally:
· 229 children receive food each school weekend from Lake Cares' Weekend Children’s Feeding Program
· At least 15 Emergency Food distributions are requested each week
· Lake Cares provides food for students at a local school working with children with Autism
· 15 homeless food bags are distributed each week
· New Habitat for Humanity homes have the owner’s pantry and refrigerator filled
· 50 foster youth receive food twice a month through Forward Paths Foundation
