I wanted to focus on the color and vibrancy of this area, from the warm tones of the buildings to the energy of the outdoor spaces that make Greenville feel so alive.

I’m thrilled to share my first wine label collaboration, thanks to the amazing Catherine Carter of . She commissioned me to create the label art for their 2024 Rosé—a beautiful Grenache Noir from Oregon’s Rouge Valley. 🌹

This project has been such a joy, and I’m honored to see my artwork featured on such a stunning bottle. Even more exciting: we created a limited series of large-format lithographs of the original painting, which will be auctioned off soon!

Huge thanks to the Catherine, Jon-Michial and Carter Family Wines team and everyone who made this happen. Grateful, inspired, and sipping with pride. šŸ„‚

Just wanted to circle back and share one of my favorite pieces with you all once again - the Nantucket travel poster. This poster is more than just a piece of art; it’s a window to my passion for capturing the unique architecture and vibrant community spirit of the places I visit. The poster, which measures 18ā€x24ā€, was inspired by my original ink and watercolor and is my way of bringing the essence of Nantucket’s charming streets and adventurous spirit into our homes.

For those who missed it and for everyone who’s been asking about my favorite works, here it is. Let’s keep exploring, remembering, and dreaming about our next adventure.

Hey there, I’m the McCreight from McCreight Art and Design. I’ve always believed that my art should do the talking, more than words ever could. But today, I want to share a bit more about my journey and the philosophy behind my work. From Europe’s captivating scenes to the dynamic urban life in the U.S., my journey in art has been about capturing those unspoken narratives with my pens and watercolors. Currently, I’m exploring the soulful essence of Southern Culture, where Bourbon and Spirits become subjects of my urban canvases. Each creation is a dialogue of strokes and colors, telling stories that words alone can’t express.

Deeper Dive Q&A:
* Advice for Emerging Artists: Embrace your art with your whole being. Steven Pressfield puts it aptly: ā€˜Just work.’ Every canvas is an opportunity for self-discovery and expression.

* What Fuels My Art: My inspiration is a melody of EDM’s liveliness and Jazz’s depth, infused with the principles of Buddhism. This blend reflects in my art, capturing the symphony of life and the unseen connections within the urban landscape.

* Artistic Influences: My style is influenced by the brilliance of Andy Warhol, Ralph Steadman, Felix Scheinberger, and the unique perspectives of Urban Sketchers worldwide. Their creativity and boldness continually shape my artistic path.

* My Artistic Beginnings: Art has been a lifelong journey, but it took a serious turn in 2017, marking the beginning of a more focused and intentional creative pursuit.

* My Training Ground: Self-taught, I found my best lessons in the streets of cities like Detroit, Denver, Chicago, and New York. These urban landscapes have been my unconventional studios, offering lessons richer than any traditional setting.

* Favorite Art Quote: Steven Pressfield’s wisdom resonates deeply with me. Another favorite is, ā€˜The real innovator is scared to death,’ a reminder of the bravery required in the creative process.

I’m excited to offer a limited number of art commissions this quarter. If my work speaks to you and you’re envisioning something special, feel free to message me. Let’s collaborate to create art that tells your unique story.
