September 20th. Early this morning on our daily walk, we had the honor of walking to the Cherokee Medicine Wheel here on campus. Alluring us in with his Native American flute playing was Mr. Billy Whitefox. He invited us into the sacred space, spoke of the ancestors, and animals , and spoke to us in his native Creek language of the children and his people. It was a VERY magical and inspiring morning.

This weekend, I'm going to The Tournament of the Roses in Lake Worth, Florida - near the president's mansion (makes for stoopid-expensive hotels) and will be teaching embroidery.

I'm excited to be taking the marbling class being offered, and hanging out with friends.
