Fats play a very important role in energy metabolism, regulating body temperature, supporting the immune system, healthy brain function, insulating internal organs, helping nerve transmission, vitamin and mineral absorption, and hormone production, as well as maintaining healthy skin and hair. Therefore, fat is essential for the human body!
What do you think is the role of carbohydrates and sugar? After all, we need the essential fatty acids, we also need essential amino acids, as well as minerals and vitamins... but there is no essential carb, nor sugar!! Just food for thought...
