One of my tattoo shops, Foolish Pride Tattoo Co., located in St. Petersburg, has unfortunately become the target of a deliberate smear campaign orchestrated by a local rival tattoo shop. This rival establishment is being operated by a disgruntled former employee who is utilizing fake and bot accounts to post negative ratings and AI-generated reviews. Their sole purpose is to harm our reputation by significantly lowering our online ratings and mislead our current and potential clients.This individual persists in engaging in slanderous and defamatory behavior by making false accusations and fabricating scenarios against us. After investigation of each negative review, we have found no evidence of the person(s) by these names ever visiting our business or engaging with our staff in any way. Furthermore, a closer look at these specific accounts reveals that they were all recently created, some of which located nowhere near our business. While they may appear genuine at first glance, it is evident that this is a deliberate tactic employed by the perpetrator to camouflage the bot as a legitimate account.
We were successful in getting many of these fake reviews removed, but some have yet to be removed but we are working on it! We are working diligently with an attorney to help resolve this as quickly as possible and will be persuing legal action against the responsible party.
In the meantime, If you have had a positive experience with Foolish Pride Tattoo Co., we kindly request you to share your feedback on our Google Business page. Your genuine 5-star reviews will not only help counteract the negative impact of the fake reviews but also provide an accurate reflection of the quality of our services to potential clients.

One of our longtime artists, JD, was injured pretty bad in a motorcycle accident resulting in multiple injuries. These injuries have unfortunately rendered him unable to work for the next few months and JD has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Along with the loss of income, JD has incurred quite a large medical bill due to this accident. So the team at Foolish Pride Tattoo Co. has put together a fundraising raffle to raise money to help offset some of these expenses.
