PURVIS YOUNG OUTSIDE ARTISTS SHOULD BE INSIDE

Artist Purvis Young's "Good Bread Alley" a 1973 painting used on the exhibit poster in 1996 for the African American Art Exhibit "Souls Grow Deep." Art of the South Cultural Olympiad Event Atlanta 1996 from the William S. Arnett Collection Show. His works are in National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Private collectors include Jane Fonda, Damon Wayans, Jim Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, and many many others.

I have chosen this vintage "1983 Beverly Hills Car Show" Poster to feature; because of the way the the artist played with the colors. Some how in the original painting he used his brushes to produced a combined gold & silver reflection that glistens off the chrome. This elegant Roll Royce work of art is a truly a timeless piece of automobile history. This posters in in near mint conditions and Seven North Art has 2 or 3 left !!
