New Hidden Valley Winners All Around.

May 29, 2026

Clearfield, PA - Hidden Valley Speedway returned to action Friday night following a win by Mother Nature last week. This week's winners include: Brad Benton of Duncansville in the Semi Lates, Hayden Holden of Tiona in the Small Block Modifieds, Brandon Connor of Penfield in the Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Eric Lucas of Clearfield in the Pure Stocks, Allen Robison of Clearfield in the Four Cylinders, Wally Stock of Kecksburg in PA Thunder Vintage Modifieds, Steve Longo of Bradford in the PA Thunder Vintage Modifieds, Sportsmans class, Izzy Landis, of Newport in the 600 Micros and Melissa Robison of Clearfield in the Aquaholic Powder Puff race.

The Semi Lates were led to the start with Brad Benton and Jeremy Lippert on the front row, with Benton darting into the lead and bringing Justin Owens along into second with Tom Viello in third. Cautions waved on laps one, three and eight to keep the field tight. The green unfurled again on lap nine allowing Benton to keep his lead and Owens in second and Craig Bainey was coming to the front from his last place starting spot. He was now third and working on Owens. The caution waved twice on lap 18, both times for Owens, who spun. This gave Bainey second and he was all over Benton but ran out of time when Sam McClellan threw the double checkered flags. Bainey settled for second, Vilello was third, Mike Blazer was fourth and Brain Fabio was fifth. Heat wins went to Benton and Dave Buchannan.

The Small Block Modifieds had heat winners Craig Casher and Hayden Holden on the front row, with Holden shooting into the lead and Aaron Casher was second when the caution flew for a spinning Craig Casher. On the restart Holden was setting the pace, Levi Picard was second now and Jimmy Holden was third. Two more cautions on laps four and five slowed the field, but the final 15 laps went non-stop, as the Younger Holden (Hayden) kept his dad at bay the entire race. Picard was third, Chris Luzier was fourth and Aaron Casher was fifth.

The Penn Ohio Pro Stocks saw Brandon Connor and Dennis Curry on the front row, with Connor darting into the lead and Zack Gustafson was in tow right behind the leader. As Connor was setting the pace, sixth place starting Fuzzy Fields was headed to the front, but he had heavy hitters ahead of him, but on a lap two restart, Fields used his restart position to his advantage, as he shot into second and began to pressure Connor. While Fields and Connor were duking it out, Gustafson and Curry were waging their own battle, with Jim Bloom waiting in the wings to take advantage of any bobbles ahead him. When McClellan waved his double checkered flags to end the extended 16 lap event, it was Connor getting his first win of the season on Fields, Curry, Bloom and Raven Fuller. Connor and Curry copped heat wins.

The 2025 Pure Stock Point Champion, Eric Lucas, picked up where he left off last season, by parking in the winners circle, as he led the field to the green flag with Keaton RIce flanking him on the outside of the front row. Lucas took off at the start and had Daren Rice in second and Cory Price in third. While Lucas was setting the pace, there was a battle of the 8’s as Daren Rice (8) and Price (88c) were swapping positions several times a lap, by them doing that, it allowed Lucas to open up an advantage, but the exciting battling continued until the checkers flew, with Lucas getting the win over Daren Rice, Price, Caleb Bloom and Austin Hugill. Lucas and George Bailey split heat wins.

The always exciting Four Cylinders were just that, exciting from the start. Tyler Gill jumped into the lead at the start and Allen Robison was a close second. Gill was able to lead the opening lap, while Robison pressured him for the top spot, and while working the second lap, Robison was able to take the lead on lap two. While Robison may have led the rest of the event, his wins wasn’t easy, as Gill was right there, throwing everything he had at the leader and he had fourth place starting Zack Frantz helping, often three and even four wide racing once Joe Huber got into the mix, saw Robison be able to keep it all together to get his second career feature win and his first ever at the Valley. Gill held on to second, Huber was third, Frantz was a very close fourth and Brett Hanley was fifth. Heat wins went to Gill and Hanley.

The PA Thunder on Dirt Vintage Modified Series saw the Sportsman series and the Modified series compete together in feature action like they have in the past, with Rich Cavallo finding the backstretch wall on the first lap, ending his night. He was not hurt, but the same can’t be said for the car.

The complete restart saw Steve Longo leading the opening lap, before Wally Stock shot into the lead. While Stock led, seventh place starter Cody Schultz was on a mission, and he was looking for the leader, weaving his way in and out of traffic before moving past Brent Williams on lap five to grab second place. Once in second, Schultz had to try and reel in the leader, and he was closing every lap, but simply ran out of time and had to settle for second. At the finish the top five were: Stock, Schultz, Longo, Williams and Jeff Mitchell. Longo was the Sportsman winner. The heats went to Stock and Longo.

In the 600 Micros, Newports Izzy Landis gave her parents a nice anniversary present by parking in victory lane. Landis started on the pole and never looked back as she shot into the lead and led the non-stop event from start to finish and she was unchallenged the whole time. The top four were: Landis, Jessica Miller, Eich Kerstetter and Shawn Rumbaugh. Eli Kennedy did not start and Landis won the heat.

The Aquaholic Powder Puff saw Melissa Robison match her husbands performance as she led the ladies race from green to checkered, as she easily won over Brenda Snell, Samantha Guyer and Cara Perino. Guyer won the heat.
