The Chance Brothers Band Slim Chance here . . . . I just wanted to comment on TJ, the sound engineer and owner of Deep Well Studio. What a great guy to work with! We had a couple long days and everyone was really fun to work with - even after 8 hours of laying down tracks. All in all, a very positive experience. I am pretty excited about how the tunes are shaping up. My bro, Slight Chance has a definite knack for songwriting AND arranging!

Saturday, May 5 - The Vogue welcomes Vision Cle Elum's Do Over Prom; we are going to "Turn Back Time." There will be live music, food, and prom photos, and as this one is just for grownups (21 and over) we don't have to run out to the car (or spike the punch)for liquid courage! The 12-piece orchestra is coming from Tacoma. - let's show them a hearty welcome from Cle Elum and show 'em we know how to dance! General admission $15. Sixty-two and up $12. Tickets are available in Cle Elum at Ruby's Printing, Scrapbooking, & Things, Mailboxes Unlimited, and Tribune Office Supply, or in Ellensburg at The Daily Record. As we predicted, the Dusty 45s Holiday Spectacular on Dec 17 was sold out - we had to tell the last dozen or so people that showed up to buy tickets that they could pay and come in, but it was standing room only. And they did! At one time there were over 80 people on the dance floor. What a show - the Dusty 45s were virtually on fire! The crowd demanded (and got) three encores. Thank you, Billy Joe for bringing your kind of entertainment to Cle Elum's Vogue Theatre!

The Vogue had scheduled a Talent Showcase on November 5 called "So You Think You Can..." We only had three applications to perform so we gotta cancel for now. Perhaps we'll give it another go in the spring! Think about what you'd like to do...

You have 4 opportunities left to enjoy the magic of live theatre - audience and actors exchanging energy and enjoying each others' company. If you've never been to a play, now is the time and this is the show. Funny moments, scary moments, and a few surprises - it is, after all, a murder mystery...

Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" opened last night to rave reviews from the audience! This play is the longest continuously running show in history. It opened in London in 1952 and is still running at the same theatre! Don't miss this great entertainment opportunity - it's only $10 per ticket at outlets ($12.50 at the door).
