WE DID IT!!!
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the phenomenal team of volunteers on the Cle Elum Skatepark Committee who tirelessly raised funds and rallied our community together for this amazing project: Myles, Adam, Andrea, Dustin, Megan, Lucy, Melissa, and Matthew. Our commitment and hard work have made this dream a reality. It's a true testament to what can be accomplished when we unite for a common goal.
A huge thank you to every individual and business that donated to this project. Your generosity has played a vital role in bringing the Cle Elum Skatepark to life. Because of your support, our youth and aspiring skaters now have a safe and exciting place to express themselves, grow their skills, and build lasting friendships.

We would also like to recognize some amazing local individuals that brought our skatepark entrance this past week- Kingcade Excavating, DuBay Concrete Co, Ellensburg Cement Products, Abourezk & Co. Furniture Consignment-Abourezk Handmade, Dina Yarborough, and Northwest Landscaping and Design. They brought the finishing touches to make this skatepark complete!
Let's also give a heartfelt shoutout to Always Excavation, BKG Trucking, Public Works, Comanche Pawnee Mining Company, Central Rentals, Pro Rentals, and ECP for their generous material donations and for facilitating the necessary material removal. Your contributions have laid the groundwork for this incredible space.
A special round of applause for Joe & Courtney at the Roslyn Theatre—thank you for opening your doors and hosting events that helped us raise funds.
We must also pay tribute to two pioneers of our skateboarding community, Ken Prenslow and Josh Pitney. Over twenty years ago, they kicked off the skate energy in our town with the original skate park. Their vision, tenacity, and dedication continue to inspire us all.
We also want to thank Radio Shack for providing the delicious food that fueled us during the exciting celebration and the awesome bands- City Reek, The Trades, and The Passholes that entertained us and brought our community together through music. Furthermore, we express a ton of gratitude to Grindline Skateparks for their incredible artistry and support in building a world-class skate park for rollers of all kinds.
This skate park is more than concrete and ramps; it is a symbol of what we can achieve together—a safe community space where creativity flourishes and bonds are built. Let's use this park to cultivate the next generation of skaters, artists, and crowds who support one another.
Thank you EVERYONE who was there to attend this monumental occasion. Let's make some noise, grab our boards, and enjoy the ride!
Welcome to the Cle Elum Skate Park!
