Here’s my first attempt at woodburning. A very laborious process and I don’t really like the smoke involved. I used a little paint to beef up the image and surprise surprise-It’s a butterfly subject. 😂

A few years back I did an illustration for Grainger that involved working with a fire station in Illinois. After the job was finished I framed up a print of the art and gave it to the crew. They were all so gracious helping me collect all the reference I needed and insisted I come by the fire station for dinner with them. "I Love My Job" 😀
