The Clayton Community Fair Book Cover Contest gives youth the opportunity to design the cover of our 2027 Fair Book!

This year's theme is "Whistle Stop Tour" and the winning design will be featured on next year's fair book. Talk about a cool piece of fair history! 🚂✨

Whether your young artist loves drawing, graphic design, or dreaming up creative ideas, we'd love to see what they create.❤️🤍💙

✨ Superintendent Spotlight ✨

Meet Becca Baber, one of the faces behind our Goat Barn and a dedicated member of the Clayton Community Fair Board! 🐐💛
One of her favorite parts of fair season is the moment the fairgrounds come alive. The sounds of animals arriving, pigs in the barns, goats calling to one another, chickens clucking, and the smell of fresh shavings all signal that the fair weekend has finally arrived. For Becca, that's when the excitement becomes real. 🌾🇺🇸
Becca's goal is simple but important: to create a fun environment where kids can learn about animals, build confidence, and enjoy all that the fair has to offer. ❤️🤍💙

One of her favorite parts of fair season is the moment the fairgrounds come alive. For Becca, that's when the excitement becomes real. 🌾🇺🇸

When she's not helping at the fair, Becca enjoys crochet and crafting, putting her creativity to work both at home and in the community. 🧶✨

🥧🍎 One of the sweetest traditions at the fair returns!

The Fresh Apple Pie Contest challenges bakers to bring their very best homemade apple pie to the Clayton Community Fair.

Fresh apples. Homemade crust. Family recipes passed down through generations. That's what fair memories are made of. ❤️

And after judging? The pies become part of our popular Apple Pie Silent Auction, helping support the fairgrounds and future fair improvements.

🐄🧽 Fair Contest Spotlight: Groom Squad!

If you've never seen Groom Squad, you're missing out.

Teams start with a very dirty fair animal, race against the clock to get it clean, and then one team member steps into the ring to show it. 😄

It's fast-paced, fun to watch, and highlights many of the skills exhibitors learn throughout the year, including teamwork, animal care, cleanliness, and showmanship.
