✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨
Maggie Santos began her dance training at Providence Creek Ballet Theater under the direction of Stephanie Artigliere where she has studied ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and tumbling with Kristen Black Franks, Tania Potts, and Jenny Seward. Maggie is excited to be rejoining PCBT this season after many years away from the studio. She attended the Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival this year experiencing various forms of dance, her favorite being Afro-beat and house.
At Smyrna High School Maggie has been a 4-year Varsity cheerleader earning Varsity captain, MVP, Blue-Gold All Star, and Academic All-Conference. She also was the captain of the JV soccer team, president of the National Honor Society, secretary of the Student Government Association, first chair clarinet in the Symphonic Band, and homecoming queen. Maggie has participated in various inclusion organizations such as unified sports, Blue-Gold Club, Creative Learning Program, and is a Blue-Gold Ambassador.
Maggie is also a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. She has earned numerous scholarships including the American Association of University Women, Smyrna-Clayton Rotary Club, Clayton Century Club, and the Presidential Scholarship to attend the University of Delaware Honors College where she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in fine art and continue to grow her love of photography that began capturing moments on stage at PCBT.
Maggie wishes to thank the entire PCBT family for a warm welcome back and the opportunity to continue her dance journey.
