I’m getting ready for Sababa — St. Louis’ Jewish Arts & Culture Festival this Sunday, and of course I had to make some special Funky Chunks for the occasion!
AHAVA — LOVE, L’CHAIM — TO LIFE, STAR OF DAVID
Each one is reverse-painted on a plexiglass block, filled with layers of color, texture and happy little details — and made to sit just about anywhere you need a pop of joy.
I’ll have both my regular Funky Chunks and the SUPER-sized version with me Sunday!

Come for live performances from Lisa Loeb, Nissim Black, Yuval Raphael, Elana Jagoda with Saul Kaye, and Klezundheit.

Come hungry for food from Zelda’s Catering and Corner Cafe, plus desserts and sweet treats from 613 Catering and Clementine’s. Even a tasting of Kosher goods from Schnucks!

Shop from 30+ artists and makers, meet local organizations, and discover more about Jewish culture and community throughout the festival.

And bring the family. Kids can take part in challah braiding, a video game tent, bubble party, scavenger hunt, and plenty more throughout the day.

Our friends at Zeldas Catering and Bagels & Bliss teamed up to create something seriously worth coming hungry for and Kosher!

A plain bagel stacked with beef bacon, a crispy hash brown patty, pareve American cheese, and a no-nut pesto aioli. Savory, crunchy, cheesy, and very Sababa.

The Israeli pop star and Eurovision finalist is coming to St. Louis to perform live and free at Sababa Festival on October 18, bringing her sound, energy, and a little Israeli pop to Downtown Clayton.
