Ive been receiving some backlash following me winning an award this weekendās past convention. As it being my first convention actually tattooing in, I was excited, nervous, in great spirits but I truly did not know every single rule of this convention. I prepared to enter in a few categories, one of them not being Tattoo of the Day. That was a last minute decision. I apologize to you all for entering this category even having worked on my piece in multiple sessions but I was unaware at that time and the judges said it was a great piece. It was not my intention to fool anyone into believing I completed the entire piece that day in a ploy to win. This will not happen again. There were a lot of amazing pieces that were started that day and I apologize publicly to you all for taking the fair opportunity away.
The situation was rectified at the convention and it has been again since then but it seems there are folks out there that will go the extra lengths to harass me and question my integrity across different platforms even days after. I canāt take it back, but I can reflect on this situation, and apply it to the future.
Iāll be happy to answer anymore questions in person at the shop
Thank you
