You truly get up close and personal with incredible artists when you visit Crossroads Cultural Arts Center!

Today, we want to extend a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to someone who has been part of the heart and soul of Crossroads from the very beginning—a true Delta Blues man through and through.

His generosity, time, talent, and unwavering support have helped shape Crossroads Cultural Arts Center into what it is today. We simply would not be where we are without him.

On a personal note, I want to thank my mentor in Delta Blues culture, good times, great music, and venue operations—the godson of Big Jack Johnson, my dear friend, and a living legend, "Big T" Terry Williams.

Big T, you are truly a pillar of Crossroads Cultural Arts Center, and we are deeply grateful for everything you have shared with us over the years. Thank you!

If you'd like to support our mission of preserving and celebrating our rich cultural heritage, please consider making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue this important work.

Thank you for believing in Crossroads Cultural Arts Center and the artists and traditions we are honored to preserve.

Today's thanks goes to an anonymous writer who shared this beautiful description of Crossroads Cultural Arts Center! We don't know who wrote this piece or exactly when they visited, but we feel it captures the spirit of the Center—as folks around here call it—perfectly.

A heartfelt thank you to The Mississippi Monitor for sharing this warm reflection. If you haven't visited Crossroads Cultural Arts Center yet, take a moment to read the article, then make plans to join us for our next event on September 26, 2026: the Jessie Mae Hemphill Tribute Festival, hosted by the one and only Peggy Sue Hemphill Lesueur, better known as Lady Trucker!

Thank you again...reposting with a working link.

Greetings to all our Crossroads Cultural Arts Center friends and family. We have so much to be grateful for. Over the past 10 years, you have embraced Crossroads as a home and hub for experiencing authentic culture, arts, and history in the Mississippi Delta — and for that, we THANK YOU.

Although our doors opened a decade ago, our journey is still just beginning. We never could have imagined the adventures that would unfold: live performances and oral histories that amplify local voices; digging into important histories like the old town of New Africa; expanding understanding of the African origins of the Blues; deepening relationships with Choctaw and Chinese Southern communities; hosting Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Evans, the Sinners, and the Warner Brothers team for lunch with local youth; and supporting successful business incubation for local residents.

Every step has been made possible by your support, your partnership, and your belief in this work. We are deeply grateful.

Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing stories, experiences, and people for whom we are especially thankful — along with a few exciting initiatives and changes.

Thank you for being part of our family. Let’s continue to grow together.

Warm regards,
Chandra Williams
