JUST ANNOUNCED: Magic, mischief, and midsummer romance are coming to the mountains this fall! Join West Virginia’s Shakespeare troupe, The Rustic Mechanicals, for a lively production of William Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at Pipestem Resort State Park on Saturday, November 14.

As part of the 2026 Shakespeare in the West Virginia State Parks series, this timeless comedy brings mischievous fairies, tangled lovers, and laugh-out-loud theatrical antics to one of the Mountain State's most scenic destinations.

Spread the Word!

The Vintage Theatre Company is currently enrolling new students in their non-traditional Thespian Troupe #12610 through the WV Chapter of the Educational Theatre Association.

A non-traditional thespian troupe is a chartered International Thespian Society (ITS) troupe that does not operate within a traditional, brick-and-mortar school with its own theatre program. This allows organizations like homeschool groups, private arts academies, and other qualifying educational programs to participate in EdTA events and honor their students' achievements in theatre.

Any high school age WV student who does not attend a high school that has a chartered thespian troupe, may be a member of this troupe. VTC's non-traditional thespian troupe will be heavily integrated into The Rustic Mechanicals' Apprentice Company. The troupe will be led by Derek Hess, the RMs Associate Artistic Director, and a team of phenomenal mountain state teaching artists.
