Well folks.... I really have left social media behind, but thought I'd do at least one more post for folks who might not be in close touch.

The time for Reitz Ranch is coming to an end for Teddy and me. It's been a long 8 years, I can't begin to describe what I've learned since being here, the good, the bad, the ugly and the glorious - isn't life always some mix of that?

I've grown, I've been pushed around and did some pushing myself. I had a good 10 minutes of low-level fame, and realize how very dangerous it can be to your mental health. So grateful it didn't happen when I was younger.

Anywho, I'm happy now. Glad to/ sad to leave the ranch, but I'm am leaving it in good hands, I believe. A dedicated ceramicist and wood firer who many of the local folks have already met with. I'm only not naming him because I'm allowed one superstition (right?) and I don't feel like publishing it until his name is on the closing note! Ask anyone connected to wood firing at the ranch and they'll tell you. Strange to be so silly, but >shrug< but it is what it is!

I wish the best of this world to all of you, may you find all that you need and love at your fingertips.

Hi Everyone! I wanted to make sure this got out to people who might not be on my RR mailing list.
Jim Romberg lived in Sedona as a working artist along with his wife, Lynette Jennings for many years, so many of you know him and his artistry.
Reitz Ranch is so honored to welcome him back for an in-depth look at his primary form of expression (no, not his fly rod!) for a beautiful October weekend. Please see the information below to join us!
And if you would like to his qualifications, please visit jimromberg.com/about (better sit down, it's going to take a while!).

The toughest part of ceramics? IMO, pricing. Things that pull your heart strings, drop your jaw, make you shake your head with wonderment …..monetary value? Priceless? Double what you’d pay? Know your audience? Everyone has their own taste? Ahhhh! does amazing work, so we argued about it for a while, still no solution!

Some like it hot! ^12 flat in front the and the back is not far behind. A terrific crew with Dave( ) Chas ( ) Leanne ( ) and a new-to-me friend, Jaren ( ). The laughter from this crew is infectious and welcome, I hear it every time I approach the kiln- so great!
