Oinktoberfest

Oinktoberfest Oinktoberfest was an annual BBQ Festival & Competition held at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, Unfortunately all good things come to an end.

Oinktoberfest was the longest continuously running BBQ competition in the state. There was music all three days with an emphasis on the Blues, plenty of BBQ vendors, a KCBS sanctioned Competition Saturday, a Whole Hog Competition, Outdoor Cooking Contest and the Rib Oink-Off on Sunday and an Awards Ceremony following the contests both days. Oinktoberfest, after 18 years has been cancelled.

Unfortunately the rumors you are hearing about Oinktoberfest being cancelled are true. It was a most difficult decision. The limited availability of resources and personnel for onsite logistics made going forward impossible.

It has been a great run for the past 18 years and we hope you have enjoyed your times attending what was the longest continuously running BBQ competition in the state.
