I made a cherry pie at the request of the guy that works at Daylight Donuts in Claremore. Waverly and I go every Saturday morning and Waverly gets to say hi and pass out hugs and fist bumps to the guys and girls that work there. I also got to use my newly acquired braiding skills. That lattice took a while to get on there but they are looking better each time.

I made 2 more meringue variants after talking to some of the food enthusiasts near my cubicle at work. I tried a Strawberry/Lemon and a Blueberry/Lemon. Strawberry/Lemon had strong strawberry and lemon flavors and was the preferred of the 2. Blueberry just didnt have much Blueberry flavor, the lemon really over powered it. Over all bothe were good.
